Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea)

Clary sage oil is extracted from the flowering tops and the leaves by steam distillation. It has a sweet, nutty, somewhat herbaceous fragrance. Clary sage has a calming and sedating influence on the nerves, and emotions, and is a natural mood enhancer. Clary sage oil also promotes hair growth and stimulates the scalp. Avoid while pregnant.
