Argan Oil (Argania spinosa)

Argan Oil- Origin: Morocco

Fatty acid composition: Oleic - 42-50%, Linoleic - 30-36%, Palmitic - 12-16%, Stearic - 4-6%

Argan oil is extracted from the nut of the argan tree, which only grows in the Moroccan dessert. It is very rich in beneficial nutrients including essential fatty acids and vitamin E which provide it with many healing, conditioning and repairing properties. It absorbs easily, non-greasy and is very effective as a skin moisturizer to hydrate and soften skin. The antioxidants in argan oil help restore elasticity and reduce visability of wrinkles, giving skin a youthful glow. They also help heal irritated and damaged skin as well as reduce inflammation.
